Hand-Marbling Paper
Hand-marbling paper had been on my creative bucket list for *years* (seriously). I’m obsessed with the timeless, organic beauty of marbled patterns and wanted some original prints to use for Ross Paper Co products. This past February I finally blocked off a few hours to give it a go.
It was harder than expected... but also so rewarding.
There’s something grounding about trying a completely new art form, especially one that involves getting your hands messy. While I was definitely just experimenting and seeing what kinds of patterns I could pull off, it gave me a whole new appreciation for the craft.
I’m already dreaming about my next attempt—diving deeper into colors, refining shapes, and exploring more complex designs.
The best part? Some of those very first marbled sheets became the designs for our new line of gift tags and envelope liners. I love that something so experimental and personal became part of our collection.
